Trouser socks with ballet flats... really? Sorry, usually not a good look.
I'm talking about when you pair flats with pants or jeans. I bought these liners that cover just part of your foot but you can see them as they are bigger than the flats but if I don't wear anything, my feet get sweaty and my shoes inevitably get stinky... what do you do? thanks!
I found the perfect liners!! They're HUE Cool Contour Low-Cut Liners. I got them yesterday at Macys after reading great reviews on Amazon and they are AMAZING. They don't show at all with my flats - even the ones that show toe cleavage :) And they stay up b/c of a sticky thing on the heel. LOVE LOVE LOVE!!

Can't stand the feel of shoes without socks. (Except sandals, of course!) Get the peds (Peds brand!) that cover just your toes...and the ones that just skim the bottom of your feet....otherwise, I'll wear trouser socks or textured knee-highs.
I do very light-weight trouser socks. I get sweaty feet too, and those liners are exactly as you describe. I have yet to find a pair that actually stays hidden without slipping off my heel.
Trouser socks mostly - black or brown depending on the shoe. Except for days like today when I wore groovy purple and white psychedelic patterned knee socks with my clogs. Crazy socks are my one true J. when the weather changes and I have to put my open toed shoes up for the winter.
:)
I usually wear peds (or at least thats what they used to call them). They are cotton and just cover the toes to the heel. You can't usually see them, but they do slip off now and then. I don't like stinky shoes either, lol.
I love those little liners, although the only ones I've found that fit and wash well are the George ones from Walmart!
I wear lightweight socks or knee high hosiery. I cannot stand that sticky feeling when my feet sweat and I hate it when my feet are cold. I haven't been able to get those liners to work either.
HTH,
A.
I wear "toe socks" basically I buy cheap little kids dress socks and cut off what I need and then toss the remainder in my scraps bin to send off to my sister for scrapbooking! I also wear these when I have on closed toe shoes with nylons (helps extend their life) or tights in the winter. I have really big feet though so those little socks would probably work for me!
I know what you're talking about - those little footies have been around for years! But they definitely show with certain shoe styles, and I think that's quite unflattering. I generally wear hosiery (or trouser socks) with my pants or jeans. If I don't want to wear hosiery in the summer, then, before I put on my shoes, I sprinkle just a little corn starch or baby powder in them, and that helps my feet not to sweat.
I wear "skin-colour" knee-hi hose. It doesn't look like I'm wearing anything (especially from a distance) and takes care of the problems you mention! :)
Trouser socks. If I don't have them, and if I then take my shoes off for yoga or something -- pee-yew! That's just me and my stinky feet, though. Don't know if it applies for everyone.
I wear trouser socks when it's cold.
Bare feet in the summer, for me.
The same people who make the liners also make toe socks. They just cover the front of your feet. They're beige and made of cotton. I use them in my clogs but they also work in regular shoes.
