Tonight is my friends bachlorette party and I can only afford one gift for the wedding and for the party. I KNOW for a fact she will have all the lingerie and sex items she could ever want, so I wanted something more practical.
My sister showed me this book and I went out and bought me one because I loved how I could scrapbook on the go with it. I'm not a huge scrapbooker, but I want to start getting into it and this was such a great idea! I know she loves preserving memories, so I thought this would be a great idea to quickly preserve her wedding/honeymoon/newlywed stage in her life.
What do you think?? Should I get her something different??

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Haha! Thanks Jo!
**I'm not a traditional gift giver. Being in many bridal parties and have helped with returns I know that she will get more than enough spatulas and punch bowls. I know her extended family and her friends. They all will give her things off her registry. In fact I looked at her registry yesterday to see if I can add on to my gift, and most things have been bought from all three of the different places she has registered. So i feel she is good with that. I want something she will love and be different than the average gift. She's been there a lot for me through out the years and she is one of the few brides that I have been able to give a gift to (money issues. Still a starving student and a single mom). Usually I give frames for a wedding or engagement pictures. But I wanted to go out of the box on this one.

I love this gift!! It's VERY thoughtful - like a carry-around scrap book and calendar, note pad all in one!!

I think it's well thought out and given with love!!

YES!!

LOVE IT!!!!!! Very different. I am not a traditional gift giver either and if someone gave this to me I would be thrilled. :-)

If she's into scrapbooking, great. If not, no. Some people like to scrapbook (can become cult-like) and some really don't. I wouldn't gamble unless you know for sure.

Personally, I think you should go with an actual wedding gift (maybe from a registry) rather than a bachelorette gift. Traditionally gifts are given at the shower and wedding.

The link doesn't work (even with the spaces removed). But, if she is into that sort of thing, then why not, you know her best. Personally for me, I probably wouldn't use it. I've been married almost 9 years and have yet to organize my wedding/baby birth photos.

*okay, checked it out, and it does look like a cute idea.

I want one. I love to look at scrapbooks, but find starting one intimidating, but this looks fun. Go for it.
