Do You like Your Nook HD?

I love my Nook Color. We paid $200 for it last Christmas, and that's what the Nook HD costs. I'm sure a Nook HD would have more to offer, but I haven't actually looked into it.

Do you know what she wants to use it for?

ETA - I also chose Nook because I like being able to walk into a Barnes and Noble and ask questions. Great customer service so far! They also have classes in the cafe. (just look at their website) Very informal. The day I went there was the instructor and two other people. We just sat at a table with our Nooks. She showed as a few things while we played around and asked questions. It was very helpful!

Love my Nook Tablet. Which is basically 6 months agos version of the Nook HD.
That's a great idea for a joint gift

I have a Nook Color; not the HD. At the store I couldn't tell much difference between the color and the HD. The store had the reconditioned Color for $99. They said most of them are actually new. That's a big savings. I've had it for 2 months and love it.

I, too, was drawn to Nook because B & N have a booth in the store that will help with learning how to use it.

And, yes, she can do all those things on both a Nook Color and a Nook HD.
