Where can I find a park with a nice playground in Huntington Beach, CA for a 5 yrs old boy? I appreciate the help.

I'm not aware of any in HB, but in Costa Mesa right across the street from the fair grounds is a great park. It's TeWinkle Park. They have recently renovated much of the park. It's very cool. You can feed the ducks too. There's also a skate park across the street if he's into that. Give it a try.

look on your cities web site under parks and rec. They should have a map w/a short description. I know some one mentioned atlantis. I love that park. We live no where near it-but for the 3-5 yr old it is fantastic.
there is a nice park in Garden Grove Atlantis park off of Atlantis Way, Westminster Blvd and Brookhurst Street you will have to pay a $1.00 to get in just took my 3 year old son there he loved it..

Do you want a big park? you have the park over in HB off of Goldenwest, that's always nice. There are also lots of nice neighborhood parks in HB. For a little of a drive there's Clark Park in LaMirada (Beach/Rosecrans), Irvine Park, El Dorado Park.
Im not sure about Huntington, but Irvine park is great. We dont go all the time because its a little drive, but it has a lake with paddle boats, pony rides, and a play ground. you can bring your own balls and kick it around and plan a picnic.
