I would bring a fruit platter or a fruit "pizza". Another idea would be some mini bagels with a variety of the flavored cream cheeses (plain, strawberry, pineapple).
I need to bring something to a brunch tomorrow...the place it is being held does not have an oven/microwave....there might be one outlet for a crock pot. Whatever I make will have to sit 2 hrs before it uis s eaten....i have another commitment before hand and not enough time to get home in between.
Any wonderful ideas???

cinnamon crunch bagels and mini cherry strudels from Panera bread!!!!!
Make up a salad - potato, egg, or guacamole and chips - pack a cooler with ice bags in it to keep things chilled - and you should be good for several hours or more.
No one would complain if you brought cookies or brownies for dessert - and they require no heating/cooling.
Fruit salad or platter, you can keep it in a cooler until it's time to serve.
Or a muffin/bagel/pastry tray.
Donuts are ALWAYS a hit!
A couple of quiches would be good too, especially since those are usually served at room temperature.
Oh, and it's nice to have a green salad at brunch, something with fruit, like spinach and strawberry :-)
Fruit with a yummy yogurt dip (8 oz container of vanilla yogurt, 2 TBSP brown sugar, 1/4 tsp lemon juice) with assorted fruit. Muffins (love banana nut or blueberry).
brownies. easy, quick, always welcome, and don't require anything once you arrive.

I would bring something like croissants.
Slider sandwiches. All different kinds. They will be gone like that.
Do you have time today to make something? A fruit "porcupine" is a little labor intensive but it looks great, transports well, and keeps well.
You need a half a watermelon - maybe the "personal size" seedless type will work if it's a small enough group. Then you need an assortment of fruits that you can find at this time of year, in different colors. Options include cantaloupe, berries, kiwi, seedless grapes, pineapple, and pears/apples if you can put them in lemon juice to prevent browning. You don't need all of these things, but go for things that contrast with each other.
You also need long toothpicks - I like the plastic ones with an arrowhead point on the end, rather than a straight toothpick. But use long ones, whatever type you choose.
Wash the watermelon, cut it in half, scoop out the fruit, and turn the hollowed-out rind over to drain. Use both halves if there's a crowd. Meanwhile, peel (as needed) and cut other fruit up into bite-sized chunks, as well as the watermelon you scooped out. Set the watermelon rind on a cutting board or platter, with paper towels inside to catch any dripping juice. Take a metal skewer or sharp-pointed knife and poke holes in the green part of the rind, every inch or so.
Thread 3-4 fruit pieces on each pick, varying the order and make-up of each pick so there's a color and taste variety. Insert picks into the holes so the completed watermelon looks like a porcupine's quills. Set on a platter (keeping paper towels inside). You can scatter leftover fruit along the outside, or put some lettuce or kale shreds on there if you like. You can loosely wrap some plastic wrap over the top.
Put the whole platter inside the bottom of a carton so it doesn't slide around, and off you go!
According to your time frame and things sitting out,.,, I'd take a plate of bagels w/cream cheese, etc and/or a large fruit/cheese platter.
get a package of banana bread. follow the directions and then add some chocolate chips and pecans. Use cute muffin wrappers. Everyone will love them.
