N.B.
I have a small smoothie maker I got at Target and I use that for small and larger batches of baby food for my home daycare. I use ice cube trays to freeze then freezer zip bags for storage. Works great for me!
It was $25.
I know I have asked this before (sorry) but its TIME for me to start making baby food. I have a little Chefmate food processor that I used for my last baby, and it was just Ok. I was just looking to see if I could get more feedback from people who have used it. I still need to read the reviews. I think last time I did it was about 50/50 good and bad. Its not cheap either, but they sell them at BBB and I have a 20% off coupon, so I could probably get it for about $50. Im not looking for a huge expensive contraption. Something that I could throw in the diaper bag and take on trips or to grandparents house. Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!

I have one and I love it! I do not have anything else to compare it to though. It is the same as the regular magic bullet, but it is BPA free and it comes with the extras that are specifically for baby food like jars. It is small enough to take on a trip (we took ours cross country).
I understand that it is not worth it for the short amount of time that it is actually used. There is a grinder sort of baby food maker that is a lot cheaper no electricity and can be tossed into a baby bag quickly sold in the baby isle. It looks like a cheese grinder but its for baby food making. 50 dollars for us is an investment and to only use it for about 3-6 months would not be worth it for us!
Go with a full size bullet:) You can use it after sweetie is grown. However, there is nothing cuter than those little faces on the cups - AWE:)
I used a hand wand food processor for my kiddos baby food.
good luck.
My mother uses one for my baby, and she loves it. She had been using the blender and says that this is much better and faster. I just cook his food and mash it, so I haven't used any motorized contraptions.
For a super cheap little workhorse that will get the job done, this is definitely the one. I love mine. http://www.amazon.com/Black-Decker-EHC650-2-Speed-Chopper...
I have the regular Magic Bullet, and it has served the purpose of making baby food quite nicely. It doesn't have all the organizational/food storage options or the steamer, but I have that stuff already, so it would be redundant for us. I just steam the traditional way on the stove.
