I buy from etsy all the time. I am a photographer and so I am always buying newborn props and hats and blankets. I also buy gifts for people there also. I've only had a problem with 1 person years ago. But I love etsy!
If so, what do you buy?
Do you find neat things that are unique?
When you did buy something, were you pleased with the product?

Yes. Just bought a new clutch, and have also bought jewelry and a scarf.
Always happy.
My girlfriend has a store where she does clutches for wedding parties, predominantly, but can make whatever you want.
They're gorgeous!

I've bought a number of things from Etsy over the years. I have a couple ring slings I bought. I have a set of "Nerdy" ABC flash cards, they are awesome!!. I got some fantastic leather covered notebooks. I got some custom carry cases for some speciality items.
I have several friends with Etsy stores too.
There are so many super cool things on there.
I have a few things on my "wish list" as well that I want when I can get them.
Etsy is so much fun to browse and to buy from!
Yes, often. I have only ever been pleased. I buy a lot of crafting supplies, but also frequently buy gifts. I tend to stay away from new sellers, unless it's a small purchase. I like to stick with proven sellers.
I bought a pattern for a cute hat I wanted to make. I had no problems at all with the buying process.
Yes - usually custom pieces

I don't but my 18 yr old does.
She has purchased some really cute items. One of her favorites is a customized IPhone 5 case.
She has had no issues with quality, payment, etc with the people where she placed her orders.
All time time. I've purchased baby gifts, candles, marshmallows, baked goods, make up, jewelry, lamps, cards, photographs, artwork, blankets, clothing ... the list goes on and on :) I also commissioned an Etsy seamstress to make a Daphne from Scooby Doo Halloween costume for our daughter.
Tons of unique items on Etsy. I've been pleased probably 99% of the time.
I have once. A pair of earrings. I was pleased with the process and the product. Pretty cool concept.
I LOVE Etsy! I always find neat, unique things there! I have purchased jewelry, tote bags (yoga bag, diaper bag, book bag), clothing, bookplates, personalized invitations, Valentines, bookmarks/book thongs, personalized name signs (from elliesshop - she's awesome!), Halloween costumes for my daughter, an ereader case, party favors, etc., etc. I find that the vendors (for the most part) are very willing to work with you to make custom items. I've never had a bad experience purchasing on Etsy. Happy shopping!
Yes. One of my favorite stores is http://www.etsy.com/shop/charbridgecrafts - she's super friendly and professional. I'd order from her any day.
I've bought from them a couple of times and have LOVED IT! I bought scrabble piece earrings for my MIL and it was the talk of her scrabble circle. I also bought earrings for me that were unique and sooooo cool! I need to find a wrestling mom shirt for me and see that they have a couple of sellers for that, but haven't bought it as of yet. LOVE their stuff and could spend a fortune there!! Both vendors that I dealt with were soooooo easy to deal with and happy to please!!!!!
Everytime. I buy clothing for my kids, for me, stuff for the house and tutorials for sewing and crafting.
I contracted with an etsy jewelry artist (Andiedanie, who I found through a Mamapedia inquiry!) to make a beautiful, one-of-a-kind necklace for my daughter's 18th birthday. The piece was exceptional and incorporated a personal message we wrote for our daughter, and the price was extremely reasonable. My husband and I were delighted with the results, and our daughter LOVES the necklace -- it's still one of her favorite pieces, even two years later!
