Dizziness in Early Pregnancy

Has anyone experienced dizziness in early pregnancy. I am 7 weeks and have been dizzy off and on all day. I've been eating and drinking, so I don't think it is blood sugar or dehydration. I wanted to get to the pharmacy to check my blood pressure, but hubby is working tonight and I didn't think it was a good idea to throw the kiddos in the car and drive like this. I plan on speaking to my dr about it on Monday (edit - next Monday). It isn't bad enough to warrant a phone call, but I was just wondering if this is common. I did not experience this with my other two pregnancies.

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks ladies, I feel much better! You would think that after 2 pregnancies I would be a pro, but I guess every one really is different.

Today is Monday... did you call your Doctor?
Or did you mean next Monday?
Call your Doctor already.
Rest.
Don't drive.
It doesn't matter that it 'isn't bad enough to warrant a phone call...." just call your Doctor and let him/her know.
See what they say.

Dizziness is a common pregnancy symptom. I experienced it with both of my pregnancies with boys, but not with my daughter.

I didn't have it, but it seems like I read something about it in one of my preggo books. I thinnk it has something to do with your blood volume changing because of the new pregnancy and how it changes blood flow to your uterus.

I had it a lot in the very beginning. That was one of the first tip offs for me that I was pregnant. It should pass by the second trimester, if not sooner.

Yes, dizziness was one of the first symptoms that I had and it was off and on for a few weeks starting around week 6. I haven't had any problems with it since I entered my second trimester. I didn't have any morning sickness, so I, like you, had no problems with eating or drinking. At my job I am constantly required to walk back and forth between buildings and there would be times that I would actually have to stop in the hallway and lean against the wall while I waited for the room to stop spinning (which was never good cause I didn't tell them I was pregnant till later in my pregnancy! haha). But, my doctor told me that it is common to have happen in some women. Another friend of mine had the same symptom with all three of her pregnancies (in fact she said that's how she knew was pregnant the second two times). I wouldn't worry to much about it. Every pregnancy is going to be different from the other ones. I think your just getting a new symptom with this one. You can ask your doctor on Monday though when you see them, unless it gets unbearable, then I would call them to just make sure.
