The best thing you can do since you dont have a doctor here, is to go to a planned parenthood. You can call them the first thing in the morning to find an appointment (you can find their number online at www.plannedparenthood.org) if you are a resident of your state, they have fee waver programs. Otherwise if you are not applicable for the waver, it will not cost you much. It is important also a priorty to find the cause of this.

You need to have this looked at by a professional.

Your tubes didn't come untied - so don't worry about that. (In a female sterilization procedure, generally, the OB removes a section of the Fallopian tubes - so the tubes aren't really "tied" but this is the slang that's used to describe the old way of doing the procedure.)

If you don't have a doctor or health insurance you could make an appointment with Planned Parenthood. When I didn't have health insurance I had all of my GYN appointments through them. The downside is that sometimes you have to deal with the nuts who think Planned Parenthood only performs abortions and who think that any female who enters the building is pregnant - but from my teens to mid twenties I had all of my Paps and got all of my Depo shots through them for an incredibly low price. (You pay based on what you earn - and they were always SO nice.)

The term "tubes tied" is misleading. The actual medical procedure does not involve tying anything but rather cutting and cauterizing the falopian tubes in the middle so that any eggs "dropped" cannot complete the journey to the uterus. I'm not sure what to tell you about the discharge you spoke of but rest assured your falopian tubes are still "tied".

You can also try an "Urgent Care" facility... Not sure what this could be...

That is definately not normal. My advice is to go in to your primary doctor and have it checked out. If you are uncomfortable with that, then you can ask your primary for a referral. You need to make sure that no damage has occured as the staple made it's way down.
Good luck, Sweetie. I hope everything's ok.

If your finances are limited, can you try getting into the community health/ public health clinic for a follow up? Some people's procedures have 'undone'. It's never happened to me, and I haven't heard of anyone discharging their clip, but I'm sure it can happen. Use a back-up method like condoms or something unless you have changed your mind about having another child ;)

If you saved this item I would take it to a health clinic for women, depending on income, they may not even charge for this.

I have an IUD for a year and that feel out in the toilet. I saved this and took it to the clinic and found out it was my IUD.

I think you need to find out what it is for your well being and for medical reasons

No this has not, but I would suggest Planned Parenthood up by the mall. They have a program for women without insurance. They can see you the same day. Let me know - Concerned S.
