We're going to Disney World and I want to take advantage of the early and late hours. If I'm checking out on the day that a park has late hours, can I still do the late hours? Don't you have to show the hotel key or something, which I would have to give up before going to the park?

I just went to Disney world in May. No you dont have to have a key you just have to have tickets. If you stay at one of the Resorts all your tickets and meal plans are on your room Key so when you check out your key is a souvieneir becaause it has your name on it. We went to the park right after we checked out of the hotel and they keep your bags until you return. But check all of this with your resort. Have fun and take comfortable shoes.

We bought a pass that got us into to all the parks, unlimited from the time we checked into the hotel until midnight the day we checked out. We kept the keys, staff just swipes it.

We have always stayed at the Polynesian on the monorail line. The 3 hotels (when we were there) on the monorail line Polynesian, Comtemporary, and Grand Floridian all had special early park hours at one of the parks daily. The specified park would open an hour early. I am not sure about the late hours.

Have fun!!!

When you check out of the hotel, they let you keep the key as a souvenir. And if you bought a certain number of days at the parks and you still have one day left on your account, then your key should still work. But, it's a good idea to have the cast member confirm this when you are checking out. They can view everything on their computer screen.

When we went, we bought everything as a package. Our park tickets and meal allowances were on our hotel key card. The park staff just swipe it like a credit card. You don't give it back at the end so it isn't a problem.

We just got back from Disney tonight. We were allowed to do the same stuff on the park & the hotel even though we checked out until midnight that night. That's when our keys would stop working.
