It can get very cold at night even though this is in sunny CA.
There are princess makeovers offered too.
Bring bottled water and snacks in a small backpack. You can ask for cups of water. Its just the lines at food places can get quite long. So its nice to have something on hand.
Downtown Disney has a huge Disney store that you must see!!! If you need a break from Disney stuff there are shops and a movie theatre @ Downtown Disney too.

Check out disboards.com.

Bring a back pack with protein filled snacks, lots of water & sunscreen.

Don't get caught up in making it the "perfect" experience. There is just no way to do all & see all in 3 days.

Maintain a positive attitude & ignore the craziness.

Rest/nap when you need to.

Have fun!

My advice? Go and HAVE FUN! Don't get caught up trying to see and do everything. Part of the fun is walking through the gate, opening the map and saying what should we do first?
Your trip sounds perfect, the hotel is convenient, three days is plenty and she will LOVE the princess lunch :)

Three days is more than enough. You only have magic kingdom there. The amusement park I think is geared for older children. Just go and have fun. You will get to see it all.

Did you get park hopper tickets? If you are planning on going over to California Adventure and wanting to ride the Radiator Springs Racers then I do have a suggestion for you. Make sure you ask to sit in the front. We took my 7 year old in July and we sat in the back not knowing that kids can't see really anything in the back. Which really wasn't fair since we waited 1.5 hours to get on the ride. One of the workers heard me talking to my son afterwards about not being able to see and they gave us a fastpass ticket. Awesome! We jumped right back in line, waited 10 minutes at the most and sat in the front. He saw everything and enjoyed the ride so much better than the first one.

We used Ridemax which was very helpful. They offer tips on where to stand for the parades, fireworks, and the water shows. It plans out your day, you tell it what time you want to be at the park and what rides you want to ride that day and it works out your schedule for the day. It was great! We got to ride all the rides we wanted to with very short wait times (except for the new Carsland which had just opened, we waited awhile for those rides). We went first thing in the morning and stayed until around 1pm. We went back to the rental house and took a nap, ate dinner and then headed back there around 5-6pm and stayed until around 11pm-12am. We are already planning for our next trip next summer and we will be purchasing Ridemax again, best $15 I spent. Here is the website in case you want to review it.

I just posted this yesterday in regards to a DisneyWorld planning question but the same advice applies:

Have you checked out http://www.disboards.com/ ? It's a message board geared toward disneyworld, disneyland, disney cruises, etc. They post very helpful information and sometimes include pictures. You can also ask the above questions there.

Have fun! :)

Decide which rides / major attractions you really want to do at each park, and then get the FAST PASS for them as soon as you get to the park. This will save you hours of waiting in lines. Got to get the passes early in the day though!

Make sure to get to the back of the park for the Pooh ride. She will love it.if the weather is nice the pool at the hotel has been redone and is really fun. It can be in the 80's early November so have fun.
