We went in September 2007 and my kids were 4 1/2 and 18 months. They both had a great time. We stayed at the All Sports resort and it is one of the value resorts. A few years ago we went and stayed at one of the moderate priced resorts and we actually liked the sports one better. The rooms are maybe a tiny bit bigger at the moderate priced ones but not enough to make a difference. They even provided a pack n play for the baby to sleep in. I took my sheets for it I felt like it made it a little cleaner but it wasn't bad at all. I suggest using as many things that they provide to help you out like the magic express to get from the airport to your resort. Let me know if you have any other specific questions I read a lot before we went and might be able to answer a lot of your questions. Have fun!

We're taking our 4 yr old son to WDW for the first time in August!! We're traveling with my brother-in-law, his wife and my MIL/FIL. My BIL is an experienced Disney World traveler....loves going. He's a big kid himself. He's recommended a book called "PassPorter's Walt Disney World 2008" to us....It's a great guide with lots of recommendations on where to go, where to eat, what to expect. He says it's the best Disney World book.
http://www.amazon.com/PassPorters-Walt-Disney-World-2008/...

Also he told us about this site that can give reviews and more info about WDW....Lots of pics; reviews about each of the resort hotels etc.
http://www.allearsnet.com

We're staying at Port Orleans riverside (a moderate priced resort) -- he said there are more pools at the riverside part than the French Quarter part. I've never been there so I can't say whether we like it or not yet.
He also recommends asking for a room that's near a bus stop so you don't have far to walk.
If you go on that allearsnet.com site you can see which ones are the value priced resorts; which ones are the moderate; and which are "deluxe".

We took our son and he was 24 months. Just stay somewhere on property, easy access to the busses or the tram. Bring a good stroller, so the little one can lay back and sleep. We stayed at Floridian and out of all of them it was the best and the closest to WDW. If you stay there take the monorail there and the boats back. Thats the fastest ways. Good Luck

I too, suggest All Star Sports. We went this past May and took our three year old, it was great. Very friendly staff, clean, nice pool, big food court and a playground for the little ones. It was very affordable and kid friendly.
Hope this helps!
