We are going to Disney World in July & I was looking for a fun way to make a countdown until we leave for our daughter and the 3 other children that are going with us. The 3 other children have never been and are very excited, there will be 8 of us going all together 4 adults & 4 children. We leave on 7/13/10, If anyone has any suggestions please let me know. Thank You

Not really a countown answer but here's info: Make sure you make reservations NOW for special meals you want to have while there, i.e. character breakfasts, etc. It will be really busy in July so book your reservations now!

We have gone to Disney twice before with our 3 kids and are heading down again this July. All 3 times we have had a countdown poster on our fridge. We start it somewhere around 60 days before we leave. We print a picture on to a 9 1/2 x 11 piece of paper (for us it's a photo of the house we stay in while there or it could be a photo of Mickey, whatever) and we stick a pad of post-its on it with a all of the days left until we leave. Every morning my kids race downstairs to pull off the post-it and announce how many days left. Have a blast in Disney; it's soooo much fun!!!

get a calander with big squares for each day. let the kids draw something "disney" on each page. moue ears, castle, pirate ship etc. you can get them at the dollar store for a buck. get each kid his own. have them draw what they want to see when you get there. good luck have a blast
