We stayed at the Nickelodeon hotel and we didn't want to leave! They have a water park there and we had more fun there then at the parks. You can get slimmed everyday at the pool area. They also had a small water park for the babies. Also they have the 4D movie theater and breakfast with the characters was really fun. Its very close to all the parks. My kids will not stop asking me to go back. At the time we went my kids were 2, 7, 9. I had to literally drag them out the hotel room to get to the airport. HAHA

We always stay at the Villas of Grand Cyprus. Love this place. You can get the villas with one to four bedrooms, kitchen, living room, patio etc. It's a golf resort attached to a Hilton hotel I believe. We went last year and got a two bedroom villa. Plenty of space to spread out and for the kids to run around. Having a kitchen is such a bonus especially with little kids. It was great because we were not on top of each other. There is a pool at the villas and the hotel has a bigger pool with a slide. Plenty of restaurants too. Shuttles run between the villas and the hotel. There are also shuttles to and from the parks every day. We won't stay anywhere else in Orlando.

The last time we went to Disney, we stayed @ Carribean Beach. It was not too over the top and we used Disney transporation. When we wanted to go to a park, we walked a short distance from our room and got on the bus. We did not have to rent a car. We had a nice patio table and chairs outside our room. They have great pools for the kids and we rode the small motorboats.

Disney Vacation Club (DVC) has condo properties all over the Walt Disney World complex. These are usually just offered to owners but occasional they have deals or space available that they rent out. Each has a different theme and their are a variety of rooms/units available. By staying on Disney property you can use their transportation system and can get extra magic hours at the parks. Have a great vacation!

We stay at Animal Kingdom last time. Since the Disney cover all the transportation from airport and between different them park. We don't need to spend money on the rental car. The shuttle bus service is great and the room at Animal Kingdom is nice too.

If you are looking outside of Disney there is a condo resort called Caribe Cove. It is located west of the main gate on rt. 192 (Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway). Before we bought our house we stayed there a couple of times. They are really nice condos and are in a nice part of Kissimmee (Disney is in Kissimmee not Orlando). The park entrance from World Dr is only about 15 minutes away. Here is a link, but check some of the other sites prices before booking.

PM me if you want info on other resorts. I will let you know what the surrounding areas are like.

We stayed at the All Star Resorts! They have so many fun activities for the kids. We talked to some other guests there and some of them said they travel to Disney a couple of times a year. They have stayed at the more expensive resorts and the All Star Resorts are by far their favorite!

Have a wonderful time!!

We stayed at the Nickelodeon hotel which is just a short ride from all the theme parks. They have a huge water play area and other activities that made it great for a day off from the theme parks and a good place to unwind after a busy day. The last time we went, our boys were 2, 10, & 12. Everyone had a great time!
