Dishwasher Repair

Have you tried calling the company? This happened with my dryer and since the warranty had just expired, they went ahead and repaired it anyway. It couldn't hurt.

Sears Repair has always been useful to me. Plus, if they can't fix it, you can use the trip charge toward the purchase of a new dishwasher. There are some coupons floating around for 10% off repair charges too. I have bad luck with appliances, otherwise, I'd give you my coupon! Good luck!

That is just wrong, happening 4 days after. I know this is a little dishonest and some of you moms may not condone my suggestion but I would call and say it quit working just before the warranty went out. Just say you have been very busy and could not call to have it fixed. The worst they can do is refuse to fix it and you are back in the same boat that you are in now. Hopefully you can get them to fix it. 4 days, wow...

A plumber is probably the right kind of person to look for but I don't know one in that area. You can call Bateman Services in Dallas and see if they have any guys out that way. ###-###-####

Also, call the manufacturer. Maybe they can diagnose the problem over the phone and tell you what to do.

However, dishwashers aren't that expensive and maybe it's worth it just to buy a new one.
