Hello, after taking diflucan last month I developed this spot of discomfort about an inch below my breast bone and an inch to yhe right of that. This also happened after I went running so I'm not sure which is the culprit. It's happened a few times after exercising. I have the stomach virus right now and it came back. Any ideas? I was gassy when this first happened but not sure it's relaated. I also just stared smoking a little again. Which is never happening again!
Thank you
I should note that the reason I posted three different times is Bc when they are all out together of course it looks like the stomach big, but the pain has been happening on and off for a month, usually after exercise, yet also antacids help, so maybe it's heartburn. The night sweats I have noticed on and off for years, so not super concerned, just wondering if I'm missing something to get checked out. And the stomach bug I haven't had in years and felt like I was dying w the actual flu so was trying to determine if a trip to gey tamiflu was worth it :). Always a reason :)

That's the general vicinity of the cystic duct of your gallbladder. Perhaps talk with your doctor about that.
You run, and smoke with a stomach virus??? Serious? RD stop this all now.
You're body is telling you something, with all this and the night sweats. Take a break, rest, take a bath, sleep more. You sound just sick. Give your body a rest for a few days.
I had severe chest pain a couple of months ago, and my doctor thought it was a heart attack. After all the testing, it turned out to be Chostochondritis, an inflammation of the cartilage around the chest bones, but usually more to the left. You are saying right.
The area you're describing is your stomach. Why are you taking the Diflucan? I'd call your doctor.
I looked up Diflucan and stomach pain as well as flu like symptoms can be a side effect. So,yes, call your doctor.
Both my son and my husband are heavy runners, and both get some tightness in that area - sort of a spasm in the diaphragm area. Both warm up a little, then walk, then take off on their run, and that seems to help.
It seems high up for a stomach virus, but if you've been throwing up a lot, that can strain muscles.
I'm sure it could be any number of things.
