My 8yr is looking to begin dirtbiking, but while we're shopping for a bike, I'm beginning to wonder if it's even worth it since I'm having a hard time finding ANYTHING remotely close to Dallas? Anyone know of anything?? Anything at all?? Thanks SO much in advance for all the help!!
We live in Frisco and there is corps of engineer land right behind us that gets used for dirt bikes all the time...it is located on Teel, just south of Lebanon...

Please let me know if you here of anyplace to ride. We are moving in two weeks from California and my husband and kids ride, we aren't sure of the riding in the area as well.

my friend and her husband ride often. she recommended going to www.tccra.org. go to forums and then riding areas. There is a kids only place close to dallas and the web site above should have the info.

My 8 yo son is also looking to get into dirtbikes. We live in Rockwall and I know there is a track for dirtbikes, 4 wheelers, etc. right next to us in Royse City....just don't know the name yet. My husband rides dirtbikes every Sunday, but he has to travel to places to do it. The main place is in Muenster which is probably about an hour and half North of you near the Red River. If you want the number of the park, I can track it down for you. Other than that I think there is a place out in Farmersville. I am afraid there isn't anywhere I know of in the Plano area.
how about arbor hills nature preserve there in plano? my husband used to be a big mountain biker and he would stop there everyday on his way home from work. I guess it would help if you or your husband rode with him. when I went, there were always plenty of families, so surely there are dirtbikes too.
we live in allen tx and i take my kids to a dirt bike track in royce city it is located on i30 and i think 1530 only about 25 minutes from allen
