I was going to try it because my dogs have issues (one is a chronic shedder, one is stink bomb.) But then I looked at the price of the stuff and realized that I might be better off switching foods. Talked to our breeder, who had recommended what we currently use (it's expensive - about $40 for a 25 pound bag.) We moved to a higher end product and got much better results. Bonus: We found an outlet 25 miles from our house that gets in the 'broken bags' from high end dog food places and now we only pay $.50 per pound!

We tried it and it didn't work. We didn't reorder but maybe it takes more time than I was willing to give it.

To add to what TeacherLady said, a corn allergy is probably the dogs problem.

There is always a reason for excessive scratching in a dog.

The product likely won't work, because you haven't found the root of the problem.

You say that your dog itches. Do you mean that he/she is always scratching his coat in general, or is scratching a particular spot? I ask because there can be various reasons for "itchy" skin in a dog. One common reason is dryness. Dryness is often the result of not having adequate moisture in the food content. We supplement our dog's chow with a tbs. of canned wet food (high quality) with both of her meals to help prevent this. (Our vet recommended we do so...) It works wonders. My parents gave their dog a raw egg mixed in with her chow three times a week to the same effect. (It's totally safe for them to eat raw egg, btw). Also, we feed our dog a grain-free diet. Our dog is a special case because she has hip dysplasia (sp?) and we wanted to keep her weight well-managed. But, what we've subsequently learned is that grain-free can prevent itchiness as many dogs are sensitive to the grains in food. If your dog is itchy in one spot, it may be a hot spot and a visit to the vet would be in order were that the case.
Good luck!
