We're hosting Easter again this year, about 25 people, and I'm planning to have ham, buns, sandwich toppings., cheesy potatoes, some type of pasta, a green salad, macaroni salad or potato salad, and many desserts.
It's what we usually have for Easter.
If you celebrate Easter, what do you serve?
I'm thinking about trying or adding some new things.
Any ideas?
Any "must have" traditions at your house?

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Oh! Deviled eggs! Of course we will also have deviled eggs!

We usually have a ham but this year I am making prime rib and all the fixings that go along with that.

My tradition is the easter candy daughter and I have made every year since she was a baby. We've got to get on the stick and get it done this year!!

Easter is the only Holiday that isn't etched in stone where everyone's going. It varies every year. So this year I'm only having two additional adults in addition to us and the kids.

Since it's such a small crowd, I'm thinking surf and turf on the grill. Lobster tails and filet mignon.

In the past I've done standing rib roast (well sort of a LEANING rib roast, tehehe), ham, lasagna, puttanesca with halibut. Last year I did what your planning, lots of very different kind of unrelated things, buffet style. I only remember what I did last year by asking O. of my sisters, I always forget. O. year I bought a couple electric woks and did a Chinese style 'Hot Pot', that was AWESOME!

Oh and fondue cuz a few years ago I dropped $200 on a gorgeous AllClad Fondue set kills me that it collects dust in the pantry.

How 'bout adding a soup in the crock pot?

:)

Matzo Ball soup, smoked salmon and white fish, antipasto, brisket, roasted lamb, latkes and chocolate dipped macaroons are on our menu, and no, we aren't Jewish. We always serve lamb every year, but everything else is new on the menu this year.

First I think you have way too many carbs. Buns, cheesy potatoes, pasta
and either macaroni or potato salad. I would add two vegetables and
keep the cheesy potatoes. So the menu would be green salad, dinner rolls,
ham, potatoes and two vegies. Simple but good!!!

we do Ham, potato salad, green beans, mac and cheese, rolls, salad, pea salad, deviled eggs, some kind of fruit salad and then of course about 5 desserts lol last year tho my sister got married and her husband is a chef and he did a brisket and bacon wrapped asparasus which was amazing im hoping that becomes a every year thing to add in.. We always have about 10-12 people at my moms house and everybody is in charge of making O. of the items so its not all on my mom to do it. Almost the same as you except for the sides.

We always have a spiral cut ham, fresh green beans, broccoli w/cheese sauce (it's my kids' favorite) and baked potato!
