She can have whatever you eat, cut up small. Sounds like she is ready for
this. Personally, I would do cereal for breakfast only. She might be drinking
too much formula during the day so that she really is not hungry at dinner
time.
My 9 month old daughter eats 3 meals a day, breakfast. lunch, and dinner. She has a bottle with each, and two more bottles during the day. She eats oatmeal and a 1/2 jar of baby food fruit for breakfast, rice cereal and a 1/2 jar of baby food veggie/fruit for lunch, and either a baby food veggie or a baby food jar of a meat and veggie (stage 3 Turkey and Veggies for example) for dinner. Lately she could careless about dinner, spits the food out or just won't take it. Does anyone have any suggestions for foods to feed my daughter for dinner? I was thinking maybe some cooked peas or carrots that she could feed herself, but other than that I can't think of anything else! Thanks!

We never used jarred baby food...always gave what we were having (give or take a few things)...just chop, mash, or puree to the necessary consistency.
start just mashing up some of whatever your having. at 9 months she is old enough to have noodle type stuff as well as fruits / veggies. put bites of soft stuff on her tray after you have fed her enough to eat. you might want to start lowering the amount of formula she is having. ask your ped she may be ready for more food and less milk
Look at your plate and see what is either soft enough for her to eat or that you can mush or chop for her
We fed my son whatever we were eating - just pureed or chopped. If he had not had a particular ingredient before, we would introduce them individually first. So if we had grilled salmon, brown rice and butternut squash for dinner - we would puree a little of each and serve it to DS for dinner. Other meals such as beef stew, chicken and dumplings, stir fried chicken and veggies also puree (finely or coarsely depending upon her stage) very well. We have always done fruit for dessert.
She does sound ready for "people food" :) One of my kids favorite dinners was meatloaf (tiny pieces), mashed potatoes and veggies. For breakfast they loved pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs. (i hear some people wait on eggs, mine all loved them) Good old pbj's for lunch, spread thin and cut into tiny squares was a big hit. Only you know what your daughter can handle though. It is so much fun when they start enjoying people food!
Could be that she is just not that hungry? I agree that she can eat whatever you are having for dinner just make sure that she has been exposed to it before...for allergy reasons. If she has already had turkey and potatoes with no reaction then you can assume that if she reacts it may be the cranberry sauce. etc.

Does she have teeth?
If so she can eat what you all eat if it is not seasoned too much.
