Did You Know?

Just a note - the flu shot, often given at this time of the year to babies and children, is SOMETIMES made in thimerisol, the mercury base that the MMR vaccines used to be made in. They stopped making MMR vaccines in thimerisol due to the suspected autism link, but the flu shot is SOMETIMES still made in it. I heard of kids regressing after getting the flu shot. Check the vial to make sure it contains no thimerisol.
Just a comment of my two cent's worth.

Good advice. Thank you.
Here are some more resources for everyone. We all need to make informed choices.

www.mothering.com
www.ivac.com or org. (Illinois Vaccine Awareness Coalition)
Both sites have many links.

Best to all,
Amy

Do you have references for this statement? I am not saying you are wrong but before you put out information that might scare a lot of mom it needs to be verified. There is a lot of bad information out there on the internet that has no basis in science. The other person was right that the link between autism and vaccinations has been proven untrue. This concern about the flu shot is likely also untrue but I would be interested in reading any peer-reviewed articles that support it (if they exist).

I worry with many people not vaccinating their children because of this false belief, that diseases once thought gone from our country are popping back up.
