I don't think I"ll be going over to FB either. I really don't have nor do I want a facebook account. I will admit that I have a fake FB account for freebies & couponing only. I'm wondering if I can/will have to set up another fake one for MP facebook. I also cannot log into facebook at work & that's where I"m on it the most. I also like to check-in here and there and it gives me that mental break that I need throughout the day & helps me feel connected to others. I guess I could buy a smart phone and access it that way but then I have to buy a smart phone! So I'm undecided, but leaning toward probably not.
I figured they would. I will not migrate to FB. If MP dies, then I have other resources.
They should have left them up as our ode to creative communication in the face of tech issues.
{Sigh}
They should work on improving the site, since everyone is migrating to the facebook group. :)
I like to check in here periodically throughout the day. It's my reward after grading a stack of papers, or I'll check in while students are working quietly at their desks. Some days (like today) I have a lot of time to check in, while others I have no time because I'm up and teaching all day.
I joined the facebook group, but facebook is blocked by our school, so I can only check there in the evenings, and evenings I spend with my boys, so I won't be there too often. I'll still spend most of my mamapedia time here, but I did like checking in on facebook last night and seeing everyone's photos. :)
I've been on this site for awhile now and have not had any problems. Sometimes computers have issues. Seems like the IT people figured it out. It's not going down daily or anything. I think they should have taken them down because they are confusing.
I figured the posts would be taken down since most of them didn't contain a question. I think that is an automatic thing, not done manually by a person.
I hope people don't migrate to the FB page and stop coming here. This will always be the mother ship for parenting information. LOL

Really?! There wasn't a question and that's the point IMO of this site.

i won't be migrating anywhere. i have friends and family on my fb and no one knows me here. but i missed whatever happened yesterday, darn overtime!
