Diaper Stacker

You know those diaper stacker things that come with the nursery crib sheets set? I can't use mine to store diapers because I don't have a good place to hang it within reach of the changing table. (I actually found a picnic basket that matches the nursery's frog theme that I keep diapers in). So... any great ideas for a use for the diaper stacker? It's currently empty and hanging from my son's closet door and stares blankly at me like, "What is my purpose???" It's too cute to get rid of altogether because it matches the room!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thanks for the ideas- especially Brittany's idea of reusing it as a lamp shade- that's exactly the type of idea I was looking for!

I used mine to hold the baby's unlimited amount of sock's and special toy's or blankie's when he was old enough to potty train i put all of his underware and he felt like a big boy to be able to reach it himself when he needed to get a clean pair.

Tammi,

You could use it as storage for your baby's towels and wash cloths, or maybe small stuffed animals.

I took mine apart and used the fabric to cover a lamp shade and the shade on the nightlight in my daughter's room. It gave the room a more customized look, and then the diaper stacker didn't go to waste.

Hi Tammi, We never bought a changing table. We instead used a dresser. We placed our diaper stacker onto one of the drawers and hung it from there. Good luck!

Tammi, you can still use the stacker for its purpose. I have my diaper stacker hanging from the side of my daughter's crib holding a bunch of diapers. Then, on her changing table (also her dresser) I have a small square basket with about 8-10 diapers for the day. That way I have them all stored in the stacker and just a few next to her changing pad in the basket along with creams/lotions/nail clippers...

How about using it right there in the closet to keep books or toys, blankets, spare sheet sets or even stuffed animals?

Hi Tammi,
I was thinking since you already have it hanging up, that it might serve as a blanket holder. Put all your receiving blankets in there for easy access. Or a place to put books that your older kids might want to read to the baby. Try to fit a shoe box (wrap it up to make it pretty) and place it inside to hold things in like socks, hats, little things that are usually misplaced or have matching pairs missing.
Anyhow, just some ideas. Maybe none will work, but might help you see the diaper holder in a different light.
Good Luck,
C. T.

I know you already have alot of suggestions, but why not put a coat hook on the wall near the changing table and hang the stacker on that? Then when you don't need it anymore you can hang a coat on the hook.
