I need a recommendation for a good dermatologist who practices in W Plano or in the Medical City area. I would like to have a doctor look me over and make sure my moles and freckles are just moles and freckles, and not something else.

I been going to Dr. Robert Terrill in Plano since I was 15. My husband has even started going to him recently and likes him also. I have been very impressed with the way he does a mole check. He made me feel very at ease.
Dr. Michael McGuiness at Plano Dermatology is absolutely awesome! His office is located close to the intersection of Windhaven & the tollway. My 2 grown daughters and their husbands go to him and both my husband & me. Just FYI the one mole that I was sure was nothing turned out to be pre-cancerous...you are very wise to have your skin checked. I have referred several friends and they all are very pleased. I agree with the recommendation for Dr. Michael McGuiness at Plano Dermatology. He is simply the best! I know 2 others that go to him, and one of them had a small melanoma that was no bigger than the head of a pin, and he found it and took care of it. Another friend of mine had some precancerous moles removed that were pretty large, and he called her the next morning after the removal procedure to make sure she was doing OK. His staff is great too, and they are always on time with appointments.
We've seen Dr. Karen Lund for a few years now and are extremely pleased!
