There's nothing like baking soda! If you don't have any of that, then some coffee grounds in an old knee high works wonders as well.
Hello, I have a trash can "drawer" in my kitchen, it pulls out and a trash can rests inside. the drawer is very handy but it's getting very stinky. I've tried cleaning it with cleaners, spraying room deoderizers. Does anyone out there have an idea of something I can set in the bottom of the cupboard to keep the stench down?
Thanks

Baking soda....the A&H box that has breathable sides.
I wash the trash cans at home once a week (trash cans from the kitchen, bathrooms and the laundry room) and then put some baking soda in the bags even if they are scented. During the week, after taking the trash out, I spray the garbage cans with Lysol disinfectant.
Also try to keep the drawer very clean around or underneath because sometimes there are particles, crumbles or rest of food that will contribute to the problem you have.
I think this will solve your problem completely!
try keeping baking soda or carpet deoderizer and vaccuum it out when it gets stinky.
try using the scented trash bags
Charcoal briquettes.
i use a 3 in 1 cleaner. it is the best deodorizer EVER. seriously, nothing has ever compared. But, in a situation like that, if you dont want to buy online to get it, then i would recommend just using baking soda to absorb some of the stinky!
try putting the plug ins!!! or the ones that dont need to be plugged in!!!
