Do not go with Monarch Dental!!!
My husband and I 2 years ago moved here from NC. I picked monarch just because it was walking distance from my house. I knew I need 1 crown done before-hand by my last dentist in NC. When I went to monarch They told me I need 3 crowns and I have 13 cavities and 1 root canal and I had gum diseaseso I need to get a special cleaning every couple months. They basicaly told my husband the same thing. I was stunned I was like how in 6 months time my mouth got so bad? I brushed my teeth 2x sometimes 3 X a day. I knew about 1 crown due to it being the last tooth and on the side where it was hard to brush and my mouth being small could brush it as good. Something just told me I needed to get a second opinion. I went to another dentest and without telling them where I went and when they said I need done. He told me how healthy my gums looked and that I just needed a crown put on the back and that was it!!!
I went back to monarch and ask why there was such a differece in opinion and they told me they tell everyone there first year that they needed special gum cleaning!! I looked at them and said thats not what the dentist said, she said that my gums was infected and I needed to have it special clean which most insurance co do not pay for the treatment, I found out later. And I has about all the cavitys and crowns that need to be done....Oh we must have looked at the wrong X-ray's or The dentist I went to is wrong.
Sorry for it being so long, Just I don't trust Monarch Dental, I think they scam alot of people out of there money. The detist I go to know Is Dr Andrews off of matlock and country club dr in mansfield. He'll take the time out and explain everything to you! He's great.
