Hi,

We are wanting a deck built in our backyard and I was hoping you moms might have someone to recommend. I would love to give the job to a person (or few people) who have the knowledge/experience/insurance to do so vs. a large company. I'm not against large companies - but I probably can't afford them and if there is a handyman type of person who needs some work, I'd love to give it to him/her instead.

Thank you for your help!

My brother does handyman services like this for people. He does awesome work and is very thorough, and many people speak highly of his work. Also, his prices are extremely reasonable(I keep telling him he needs to charge more! :-) ) If you would like his number let me know!

my dad owns a family remodeling business, but he is very affordable. Let him know that i told you about him too and maybe he will be even nicer! lol. his website is http://www.HammondRemodelingKS.com i dont know if he has decks listed on there, but i have seen a LOT of decks he has done (including one that wrapped around almost our entire house when i was a kid) and they are always awesome.

Bob Locke: ###-###-####. He built a deck for my sister and built 2 exterior staircases to my 2nd floor duplex. He does excellent work. You might have to pay him in cash, however. He will give you a good price.

Hi!! I would like to recommend my husband. He built our deck and has built decks for a couple other people in the past year. He is a laid off union carpenter and has been laid off for a little over a year now. He has over 14 years of carpenter experience. He does side carptenter work now to help make ends meet. He does decks, doors, window installs, sheetrock work, basements just to name a few. You can contact him at ###-###-#### and he woud be more than happy to talk to you about your deck and give you a bid. His name is Doug. Thanks so much!!
