www.mint.com You can link it to your yahoo homepage- if you have one- and track it from there. Really neat website. It will notfy you if your acct. is low or it will tell you how to save for a big ticket item- read 'house'. Hope you like it!
hey, do y'all know a website or any type of helpful tool online where you can enter your income, expenses, debt, etc and it'll magically (ha ha ha) come up w/a way or amount of how/when to pay it off? you'd think i'd be able to figure this out independently, but not so much! i'm just really wanting to buy a house but i have debt that needs to be paid off first, so i'm kinda trying to figure out a timeline but my mind just gets too jumbled & i get confused & unable to figure all the numbers out. :(
any direction would help. i know dave ramsey's system is great, but i'm talking about real numbers and figures. thank you smart momma friends! :)
so mint.com is really cool...gives you a way to download all your accounts - cash, credit, etc. really cool! i've already set up my goals to 1.) payoff debt and 2.) save up for a house, which is exactly what i needed, just didn't know where to look! :)
thanks to all 5 of you who helped me w/what i was looking for and being understanding that numbers are difficuilt for me.

You could try bankrate.com They have a lot of calculators
Have you tried any of the calculators or tools under www.kiplinger.com? They might have what you are looking for.
google "til debt do us part", I have seen this show a couple times on Saturday nights.....it looks like her website may have what you are looking for....good luck
Maybe, this can help.
So, I know that you said dave ramsey is great, and you can get real numbers from that, just a little more effort from you. If you use the debt snowball and put it into a spreadsheet, you can get an idea of when you can pay it off. I listed out all the debts in order, and the month/year along with the minimum payments and when the balance will be paid off. I then added a column for "extra", and when the first was paid off, added it to the second, plus the extra, etc. I think my estimate is 8 years to pay off everything...including mortgage and my 6 month emergency fund.
