We've been going to the Lily Garden Development Day Care which is part of the he Easter Seals Center in Villa Park (Addison & Madison). They have a full on day care center which is fantastic. You can do part time, full time, drop in ... and they are extremely reasonable. My son has been there for 3 years now and loves it. They have a great curriculum and all the teachers are fantastic. They really are. They have different rooms ... infant, toddler, preschool and pre-k. They really are pros over there. Check them out at www.EasterSealsDFVR.org. (In case you are wondering ... my son is not special needs. They cater to everyone for daycare.)

If you would consider a home daycare, there is a great licensed provider that I know of. I believe that she only does full time. However, home providers tend to charge rates that are similar to centers part time. She had been doing daycare for about 30 years and is very reliable.

You should check with one of the local YMCAs - they often will provide you with a list of licensed home daycares in the area. You can also call the local elementary schools and see if they will give you a few names of moms that do home daycare. Good luck! The daycare search can be difficult but I'm sure you will eventually find a perfect setting for your little one.

I live in Villa Park and I work part time as well. We use a home day care provide who is licensed with the state that I got as a referral from the YMCA per the post below. She is INCREDIBLE and my children adore her. If you are interested, email me at ____@____.com and I'd be happy to give you her information. She accepts part timers and it is a great group of kids. She lives in Oakbrook Terrace (Butterfield/Summit) so she's only a 10 minute drive away.
