Dear E.;
My Daycare provider moved to Mokena last year. Her name is Laurne Fruscione. She runs a licensed daycare out of her home. She is wonderful and caring. We truly miss her. She was my daycare provider for 2 years and took care of both of my children from 12 weeks old. Her phone number is ###-###-####.

Good Luck in your search
E.

I am a mom of 5 and I live in Frankfort. My youngest children, my son, is 3 and he goes to daycare 5 days a week at Bobbie Noonans in Frankfort. He started there last year. My daughter is 6 and she goes to their summer camp 5 days a week as well. She started there at age 4. I have looked at other daycare centers in my area but was not as impressed as I was with Bobbie Noonans. The teachers there are very loving and I feel confident with leaving them there.

Hi,

I recently researched this back in December. My daughter is 3 and we send her to Little Blossoms Early Education Center in Mokena. It's located right by Mr. Benny's on 191st and Everett Lane. I checked out KinderCare and Children's World but was not impressed by those. Little Blossom's is a brand new building but Mrs. Judy and Mr. Jim used to have a home daycare center for a number of years. They are so nice, the place is so cheerful and extremely clean. All of the teachers are extremely attentive to the children. Their infant room only allows 8 though and there is quite a long waiting list for infants. I am not sure of the age of your kids, but my daughter absolutely loves it there. They also offer a summer fun camp for the school age kids. I did check out Bobbie Noonan's also. I liked it there but they didn't have any openings until the fall. Also, I don't think they accept children unless they're at least 14 months old. Either place is great. Good luck! S.

I would recommend the Children's World in Frankfort on Route 30 and LaGrange or Building Blocks on 507 E. Illinois Hwy. in Mokena. Both buildings are owned by Knowledge Learning Corporation (affiliated with Leap Frog). They run curriculums that are appropriate for all ages (birth through 12). If you visit the Children's World in Frankfort you can ask to speak with Miss Tricia, she is the Assistant Director and will be more than willing to give you a tour. You can stop in anytime, they have an open door policy, so you don't necessarily need an appointment to visit. You can learn more at www.knowledgelearning.com
