So What Happened?

Thanks ladies, she slept in the hotel room till about 3 and then was all ready to go when she woke up. We were able to get all the good rides for her in and she had a blast, so everything turned out all right. Now she cant wait to go back "when I dont have to worry about my tummy anymore", gotta love her :)

This really sounds like a "fun stopper" :( First of all, stop giving her brats. Pedialite is great, but diet should be more binding. Bananas, cheese, saltine crackers are good for that. In a pinch....about 1/2 cup of warm milk does the trick in stopping diarrhea pretty fast. I know through the years people have said no dairy....but dang it..it works!!! I have proven it 100's of time with myself and my children. Good luck and try to have fun!!

Yeah, I agree with kicking it down a notch. After all you're there to be together not run ragged. Poor little thing. Hope she bounces back fast!

It sounds like heat stroke or heat exhaustion. The pedialyte is good, do not give her caffeine. She needs to eat salty foods to bring her sodium back up. Lay her down in the shade for a cool rest and elevate her feet. Give her a salty pretzel or salty crackers to eat.

Over the next few days of vacation, keep her is loose, cool clothes and in the shade when you can. She needs to drink, and make sure she has a salty snack during the day.

Disney should have a health station on it's property. See if you can find it and get her there. They may have some kid's imodium or something to help her feel better.

Poor thing!! What a trooper - hope she feels better soon!
