I'm not sure on the bottle thing ... we're past that stage, and unfortunately probably used some of the bottles that are bad (before all this information came out)! I can help (hopefully) a little with the milk thing ... you can try a few or all of these things to see if they help! Good luck! First, avoid heat! Warmth makes you produce more milk and stimulates production and letdown. If you can "bind" your breasts (putting on a tight sports bra works) and put ice packs on them, that works. I put on a really tight bra (at the advice of my OB/GYN when drying up my milk with my first child ... the second I breastfed until 13 months, so my milk just went away with no issues), put ice packs over that one, then put on a maternity bra to hold the ice packs in. I literally wore that for 3 days (so maybe a weekend would work best). That dried up my milk great! Again, good luck ... and congrats on your new addition! ;)
I'm not sure about the bottle situation, something I need to know myself. About your milk drying up. OH MY GOD, it hurts doesn't it? I took pain medicine and the nurse told me to put cabbage leaves on it. Wear a tight bra, all the time even when sleeping. You must watch out for R. streeks across your breast. Call your doctor if that happens. Lumps are pretty normal, I even had them under my armpits. It took a couple weeks for it to dry up. Good luck.

that link is facts on BPA and bottles/cups that are BPA free
Hey! I got my milk to dry up by wearing a sports bra with a dish towel inside of it. The tightness of the bra helps the milk come out and dry up and the towel helps it not get everywhere. It only took two days for it to be gone. Good luck!
