K.C.
We go to Sheena's in Frisco. It is off Stonebrook between Preston and the Tollway. My 3 year old is loving it.
Hello mommas! We live in the colony and my daughter loooooves to dance. She goes around wearing her outfit and practices her ballerina dances, as she calls it. So I believe its time to put her in a class. Does anyone know of a good reputable dance studio in the area that will not cost to much? Thank you in advance!

I don't know about in The Colony, but we go to The Dance Movement in Plano. It's at Custer/121 area...and my daughter loves it!
I am not in your area but wanted to reinforce it is a good time for her to start. Just google starting dance and read up on some things to watch for that could cause damage to little ones. Such as going up on toes, too much structure, etc....
My grandkids take multiple dance, tumbling, and hip hop dance classes, and I work in the clothing store in the studio that sells fancy dresses and leo's and the other supplies the classes need. Mrs. Kem is awesome and the "Itty Bitty's" do things like the Hokey Pokey, it teaches left arm goes left, legs move this way, that way, they might put on leis and dance to Hula music, they are obviously NOT learning the Hula but that arms go left and move, step together step, they are learning to control their bodies, to listen to the teacher, follow directions, etc...
Good luck finding an awesome teacher and studio.
The Frisco Athletic Center has several classes that are actually offered at Sheena's. We haven't done them yet because my daughter isn't old enough, but I've heard good things.
If you really want low cost and since she is just starting out I would look into Rec centers they are usually pretty affordable.
It may be a drive for you, but I know The Heights Church in Richardson has dance classes for kids.
They had a one day session here, which has the contact info.
