A friend of mine just had a new baby and I wanted to take a meal to their family this week. However, one of her sons has severe dairy and gluten allergies. I've managed to come up with a meal that he can eat, but I'm at a complete loss for a dessert. Any ideas? Thanks Mamas!

I know many blogs that can help you find a recipie you would consider. I will paste those at the bottom of this message. if you do not want to go to the trouble of cooking, then Whole Foods offers many gluten free desserts in their frozen food section. Not all are casein or soy free, but the section is 100% gluten free made in a dedicated kitchen. Any tips, ideas, etc. you need feel free to private message me. I also have to be gluten free (and soy free -- a very good friend of mine has to be gluten, soy, and casein (dairy) free so we trade recipes all the time)

I've seen those products in Kroger's today. They had brownies and other desserts for those special dietary requirements. I hope this helps.

GL!

Not sure if this would help, but it's a BEAUTIFUL website and there's some great recipes there.
http://www.glutenfreegirl.com. Her plum crumble is DIVINE but it does call for a tiny bit of butter which may not work.

Here's her recipe list, maybe there's something there you could use there?

I am not gluten free but I stumbled upon this on accident and just fell in love with the author's writing.

Fruit salad minus the whipped cream always works at this Gluten/Dairy free house.
