I was wondering if anyone has any resources or insights to a daily/weekly toddler schedule. Things like breakfast, get dressed, book time, etc to help keep my nephew's day to day activities visible to him. Either websites with suggestions or your own ideas that have worked! I would love all the help I can get :-)
Thank you!!!

sorry, I got so into making the schedule I forgot to put how he knows this! I have a board on the wall at his height with pictures of games and food, etc. No times on it, but everything is in order...I even set the oven timer to go off when it is outside time, etc. so he feels like a big boy reminding me that it's time to move on :)

I am a SAHM of a 2 1/2 year old and his schedule is something like this....

8ish - breakfast, get dressed etc
9am - sesame st - we watch together...give me ideas for what to do during the day!
10am - Caillou on PBS - his current obsession (I have coffee and browse the web)
10:30 - tv off for the day, work on puzzles, coloring, dancing, playing simple games etc (we've just started playing memory only using 4 pairs to make it easy)
11am - snack and outside play
1pm - lunch and "clean up game"
2pm - nap time!
3:30 or 4 - wakes up and plays inside on his own until dinner (daddy will play with him when he gets home at 5pm)

just make a chart.. get large posterboard and glue pix of the activity on it with a clock next to it and a checkmark box next to that..

Hi S., I did something for my 2.5 yr old. We used a large posterboard and cut out magazine clippings and wrote the tasks beside them, ie; "Make your bed" and we put a picture of a bed, "get dressed" with a picture of clothes, "brush your teeth" with a picture of a tooth brush, etc...He loves it, he can't wait to get up and start his chores!

Hi S. ,

I did a board for my 2 children, 1 being Autistic. I went to google and was able do get photos of the actions I was requesting them to do. They would get a token/or a sticker for doing it. It worked well. Dry erase boards or laminated paper with velcro for tokens work too. He may be to young to understand but it is worth a shot. You could also take pictures of him doing these things so he actually sees himself doing it. Best of luck!!
