i had those wen i was little.. the stretchy ones right... my mom was really surprised that they actually worked and kept my shoes on tight.. i thought they were cool.. not sure about on a boys shoes... black ones maybe?
Do those curly shoe laces that look like old-time phone cords work? My 3yo has a great pair of hand-me-down Nikes but it is such an ordeal to tie them and untie them. I saw those twisty laces (they didn't have the right color so didn't buy them) but I am not sure if they will work. Will they keep his shoes on tight enough? Will the curls look dumb on a rough and tumble boy's shoes? I can't find red ones around town so I'll have to order them online... just want to make sure it won't be a waste. Thanks again, friends!

I have used the with my son's and I loved them they didn't have their shoe laces constantly dragging.
I went through the same thing as you and had the same idea as you. I ended up finding some online and they sucked. They made the shoes so tight that I could not get them on DS's feet.
They work. That fad blew through here about 6 months ago...but yes...they work. You might want to get the extra long ones though.
I just got those last week for my son's shoes. I was so tired of him never tying his shoe laces ! Anyway - they are working great ! He has red & black tennis shoes and I got the black ones. Looks good. You kind of have to stretch them to get them in the holes and so the shoes won't be so tight. But I will definitely use them again.
