I'm looking for a place a long the same line as Sprinkles. I have family coming to visit and I wanted to get cupcakes from Sprinkles but I really don't want to make the drive. Looking for something closer. We live in North Richland Hills area. Any suggestions? Thanks!
CRUMBLES CUPCAKES! They are located on Main street in Grapevine. It is apart of the Miscellaneous store. Trust me, you will love them. Kidd Kraddick and Kristi Kahanek are even raving about them. They make many different types of cupcakes and they take special orders as well. They bake them every morning fresh. I don't think you will be dissapointed.

I'm not familiar with Sprinkles, but Texas Star Bakery in Hurst is GREAT!
Not sure if you want to go to Grapevine either. But, our shop sells the BEST cupcakes! I have been told they are better than "Magnolia's" in NYC and "Sprinkles!" I would have to agree!! We carry Vanilla, Chocolate and Strawberry. We usually have the gourmet sizes daily ($3.99) and we special order the standard size ($1.99)

Check out Celebrity Bakery & Cafe and/or Magnolia if you have any in your neighborhood. Both have amazingly yummy cupcakes. The cake is dense, the frosting to die for!

I know Celebrity has a few different locations. They have several flavors, including red velvet, strawberry, All White, etc.
Magnolia is in Lewsiville (not sure if they have more locations or not).

You didn't mention if you had a theme. Like a pirate party or a summer fun party or a "Cars" theme party. If its going to be a "summer" party, I think it sounds great. You could also buy bubbles, since they're going to be playing outside, bubbles should be fun. Also besides cupcakes, are you serving hotdogs? You could have a "hotdog bar" or a "nacho bar". You could go to the dollar store and buy colorful buckets, fill them with sand and stick little umbrella in them or sand toys as give aways.

I have heard that the Cupcake Cottage is awesome. It is in Fort Worth though----on Camp Bowie.
have you tried "Nothing Bundt Cakes"? They are not cupcakes, but they have mini bundt cakes or bigger cakes and they are excellent. You can look up their website. The closest to you is in Southlake Town Square.
Occasional Creations in Old Town Keller. ###-###-####. You can special order (tons of flavors) or you can just drop in and pick some up. olive st. keller. They are there from 9-2:30 during the week and Sat. mornings or you can arrange for special pick up.
