I've heard about this but have no personal experience with it....
I've heard of the crystals, heated stones and such.....I'll have to run through the TV Guide to find out if it will be on again and record it!!!
My husband was watching something on tv last night, and I was sitting there reading, not really paying too much attention. Whoever was on tv was talking about the healing power of crystals? Of course I barely caught the tail end of it, but I was interested. Do you use crystals? Which kind? What are they supposed to do? Do you have to put them in a certain place for them to 'work'? Just kind of curious...

We have lots of crystals and stones throughout our home. We like the energy they give off and what each one represents, to us. I put them in places specific to me and my family. I have no idea if there is a "correct" way to position them. I often put them in front of standing photo frames. We've collected them from our travels and also bought a couple of them specifically for the crystal itself. A couple were an old friends that passed. They make me feel good and evoke fond memories. If it interest you, look into it. IMO, though, make it about what it does for you, not what it is suppossed to do.
i use crystals, but not around my house much. More for me personally. I use them to regulate my chakras. If you are really interested in learning more...check out a local metaphysical store.
Crystals are not dangerous....they are completely natural.
Crystals can magnify and focus energy. (Good OR bad energy.)
Now whether they 'work' just by virtue of 'being there' is another issue....check out a "rock shop" and they can get you basic info and suggest crystals for you....
No Crystals are just rocks and do nothing. They just sit there. Is all MomboJambo.
I think positive thinking can help a lot in some instances and crystals can be a focus point for it.
A rosary works the same way for prayer.
(A quartz crystal rosary can cover you on two fronts!)
Even a placebo can have a positive effect if the person taking it believes it to be a powerful medication.
Although being positive can be very beneficial over being negative, I think it can only take you so far.
If it works for you, more power to you.
I think plain clear quartz crystals are beautiful.
Eh, it depends. I'm not huge on crystals however I wouldn't laugh at them. I believe in using metals to help people with other disorders or ailments. If you have a nosebleed, one way to get the bleeding to slow down and stop more quickly is to lay back and put real copper pennies over your nose on each side.
I used to work in a pharmacy where we sold copper bracelets from a major medical chain for arthritis relief.
Nickel and iron bracelets are also therapeutic, as well as magnetic bracelets (unless you're a heart patient). So I wouldn't completely rule out certain types of crystals.
I worked for Dr. that had crystals all around. I read about it and researched. You never know, right? Eh...I don't think they harness energy, or "work." Honestly, I think it's the placebo effect. You could go buy a river stone from Home Depot and if you believe it will work, it will!! It only harnesses the energy to believe something works, and in that case, it doesn't matter what the object is. This is just my personal opinion, of course.
