I like to make chicken tacos. I throw a packet of taco seasoning in with the chicken and shred it for tacos when its ready.
Sorry If Im a repeat. :)
Mmmm Leah, that sounds GOOD!
LOL...I know that i personally have asked a ton of crockpot questions and i'm going to ask yet another. I have some boneless chicken breasts that I am wanting to put in the crockpot overnight. lets say I have just about every ingredient you could need for just about any recipe, except we dont have any kind of wine, cooking or otherwise. so, throw em at me, what are your fav chicken crockpot recipes?? I have several I use but I am looking for something new, maybe something that seems off the wall but is actually scrumdiddlyuptious! Thank you in advance!

One of my favorites is just chicken and bbq sauce. After a few hours it just shreds. You can use it for sandwiches, in a salad etc.
My friend just sent me this recipe and said she makes it atleast once a week..... I use strips or breasts. Mix together 1/2 cup ranch dressing with 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce. Dump on chicken. Cover with shredded chedder (I use a whole bag) and bacon crumbles. Cook on low at least 6 hours.
She serves it over rice or noodles. I think Im going to try it tomorrow.
If you are facebook, there are a lot of crockpot sites to join on there with great recipes.
If you have some veggies you could make chicken soup. Pasta sauce you could make some version of chicken parmigiana. Pretty much you need a fluid.
I really thought it was closer to 594,439,999 but maybe I counted something twice. :p
My favorite go-to soup recipe this time of year is Chicken Tortilla Soup--2 cans of black beans, 2 cans of rotel tomatoes, 1 small can of green chilis, 1 cup salsa, 1 15-oz can tomato sauce, and 1 to 1 1/2 lbs of chicken breasts. Dump it all in the crock pot for 6-8 hours on low and enjoy!! I make it once a week for the next 4 months! :)
I don't have anything off the wall - but I love chicken and dumplings.
Chick in crock with chick broth, onions, garlic, celery, thyme, S&P. Let it Cook away. When chick is done shred it, then while the broth is still bubbly make some biscuit dough and drop it by spoonfuls on the top. Cover back up and let the biscuits cook on top. They will absorb some of the broth and thicken it. I sooo prefer fluffy dumplings on top instead of the chewy, doughy ones cooked in.
Or, make mole sauce - chick, green bell, onion, chili powder, S&P, tomato sauce, unsweetened chocolate, and a touch of clove (I think that is the aromatic - I am too lazy to go pull the recipe). Anyhoo, let it cook away, then shred the chick and serve with warm corn tortillas, shredded cheddar, avocado, and roasted pumpkin seeds.
Okay, that is all I got right now.
:)
girrrrrll, i'm no good at crockpotting (lol) but would like to be better at it. anyway, i had frozen chx the other night & not a clue on how to fix it. i found some lawry's 30 min marinade & poured that over my FROZEN chx tenderloins. yes frozen, it cooked for a few hours - smelled great and omg, was SO good. i think typically that stuff's used to marinate thawed chx & then bake for 30 mins, but the way i did it was good & quick.
anyway, that may not help you for tonight, but something easy to try next time. also...maybe bbq, cream of mushroom/chx soup...that's all i know how to do! :)
White Chicken Chili, recipe on Bush's Great Northern Beans and/or McCormick's seasoning packet. Enjoy!
Any time a recipe asks for wine, you can use broth. I like the flavor of wine better, but when you are out, broth is a nice substitute.

put a couple table spoons of olive oil in a dish add some garlic powder, onion powder, oregano and parsley salt and pepper, mix it up good roll the chicken breasts in the mixture. dump the chicken into the bottom of the crock pot add about half to 3/4 cup of water seal tightly and put on low setting let cook for about 8 hours (this is for fat chicken breasts) if you have skinny ones then less time but this is good either as a main course or chopped up and made into sandwiches or soup or can use for casseroles good luck
