Creative Christmas Party Name Tags

I am helping plan a 75+ person Christmas party. It is a company party with spouses. Looking for a creative way to do name tags...I have a little room to play (I can spend a little money to make it nice). Looking for something not too cheesy but fun and creative.
Any help is appreciated!

I was asked to clarify (and I probably should have sooner!), these are name tags for the guests to WEAR. Thanks again!

If your a little less creative like me you could use a website like Avery.com. They have a ton of holiday design and print projects (templates you can use for free!)
Most Staples and other Office Supply stores have the name tag paper/kits there and then you can print them on a printer at home - especially nice looking if you have a color printer. If you have a HP photo printer you could go to HP's website and they have all sorts of templates and ideas for holiday projects you could print on photopaper - very slick!

What fun! How about making homemade gift tags--get cardstock from Michaels, cut into 2x3.5 or so rectangles, trim with decorative scissors, punch a hole for a string (or you can get clear name badge pockets with safety pins on the back to put the tag in) and decorate with either Christmas stickers or Christmas stamps or glitter the edges and do a large capital letter at one end for the name of the company (like "N" for Nordstroms).

You can make a napkin ring that "triples" as a napkins ring, a place-card, and an ornament! Maybe like a small tree ball ornament with writing on it???

I like the clear glass ornaments that you can decorate inside to go with the color-scheme.

Most Halls have table card holders....you can always just use theirs, and do simple name cards with a cute holiday "accent".

I hope that "sparks" your creative juices flowing!

This is super fun-
I just found some fun things to put in the newsletter for the church I work for.
Here is the gist of it.

Take clear pastry bags
Cut a circle out of the bottom
press a wooden circle into the bottom and glue a second one to it from the outside of the bag.
Fill with red and green m and m's or candy
tie off
using a wooden dowel or craft stick, make a little card (2 or 3 layers with fun paper) and glue it to the stick. Stick into the bag of christmas colored candy.
Tie bag with pretty ribbon

You can also use non zipper sandwich bags and just tie them off. then follow the rest of the info.
Here is a link- it is a little different because it made "corn name tags" for Thanksgiving, but you can see the bag and such and how to put it together.

This is for a fun napkin ring, home made

Hope this helps!

I saw something about clear glass balls and thought about something my sister did.
You can either stuff ribbon inside, or a clear glue and sprinkle some glitter in there, etc. YOu can also get non clear ones, some gold or silver paint or red and green paint, some faux pearls and crystals, and decorate. Write their name on the ball with a paint pen or metallic sharpie.
Have fun!

do you want name tags for the guests to wear or are these for the table? If they are name tags for the guests to wear. go get the self sitck present tags you would use for Christmas gifts. To: From: idea but look for ones that don't have the wording on them. Just decorative name tags. Go to Michaels. They are also on line. Get a Business card size style. Sometimes they came in sheets and you can put them in the printer. Hope that helps.
