It might not even leave a scar. I have always heard that applying Vitamin E oil (you can break open the liquid capsules) is good for healing scars.
My toddler got some blood on her nose a couple days ago, it was on the sides and a big one on her top, well it wasn't big but her nose is so tiny anything looks big on it.
I finally found out what happened.
She was rubbing her nose against the net of her in-doors trampoline.
I just saw her and they are gone, she must have done it again and they fall.
While the side ones didn't left anything, the top one wasn't ready I think, is not blood any more but is still a little red.
I am wondering if I should buy one of those creams for scars and put it now to avoid she get a scar or should I wait to see if there will be a scar and then fix it if there is?
Also, have you use a scar cream in your toddler? Does it works?

I would use neosporin, but if it's any worse than a normal super scrape, call the doctor and ask. I know they sell Mederma for kids now too. So tough because it's her FACE. My daughter has a scar on her forehead (even with stitches it scarred) and everyone is pushing me to take her to a plastic surgeon... um, it's really not THAT bad ;)
Don't worry about her. It will fade. You should see my daughter just 6 months after having 9 stitches. Also, you should see my niece after having over 200 stitches in her face from a dog attack. They will fade.
Try calendula. It's all natural and supposed to help healing and reduce scars. You can also try aloe vera gel. You can find a 99% pure bottle at most grocery stores.
