I have been reading several fertility book and in one book, I read that when he releases it, you have to keep it in for a while with your hip leveled up, so sperms can swim up easily?? Sounds crazy to me, but opinions are appreciated, thank you!

What can I do next?

So What Happened?

Thank you for all the responses. I used to keep my hip for about 5 minutes, I guess that wasn't long enough. How about keeping his penis inside after he ejaculates? Does it help to keep it inside & not withdraw? Does this increase a chance of becoming pregnant?

I gotta think it's true, I mean, basic logic. It's easier to run downhill than it is up, right? Every time I've tried it it has worked. Then again, maybe it would have worked anyway, like Melissa said. But it makes sense to me.

Worked 3 times. Don't know if that is why but seems to make sense.

Yes, I would do that but having him stay inside, no point.

It couldn't hurt. I have a tipped uterus and had trouble getting pregnant, so I always made sure to do this.

i followed this crazy myth when trying for both of my children, and became pregnant the first month of trying for both of them. i've never tried to get pregnant without trying this, so I can't say that it made a difference.

but, the myths about gender selection worked for both my girl and my boy.

I'll admit when we were trying to get pregnant both times, I would stick a pillow or two under me to elevate it and I wouldn't get up for at least 30 minutes, lol! I don't know if it's true or not, but with my daughter we got it on our first try and with our son we got it on our 2nd try.
