This just happened to my brother when we were visiting them last month. Go to the Crayola website. They have directions for how to use WD-40. They do say it may ruin the clothes, but the clothes are already ruined by the crayons. It will get any residue out of the dryer so future loads aren't ruined. Good luck!

Don't know how bad it is, but you might be able to get it off by putting a paper bag over it and ironing over it. Be careful not to get the iron on the crayon. I've gotten wax out of tablecloths this way. Good luck

Same thing happened to us. We wet the clothes and used a scrub brush and laundry detergent right on the stains. It took some time, but we got all the crayon out.

I had the same run-in with an orange crayon. Carbona Stain Devil #3 for Ink, Marker and Crayon got the baked-in orange out.

Don't forget to clean your dryer drum, if necessary.

I know someone who swore by Zout.

If you google "how to remove crayon from clothing" you'll find a number of suggestions which may or may not involve products available in your own area. Just be sure to check the washer and dryer, and clean those, too. Mr. Clean Magic Eraser seems to have a good track record for that.

I've been very, very lucky - but I'm also pretty good about checking pockets (even after the kid has assured me that it's been done).
