I know this question has been on here before but I don't remember what all was said about it. My DD left a crayon in the foot of her PJ's and I didn't know this until AFTER I was taking them out of the dryer and her clothes had purple marks where they didn't belong. Any haelp would be greatly appreciated in this matter.
Thanking you all in advance for any help.

So What Happened?

I want to thank you for your help... I actually forgot about this stuff that I had bought in Dollar General called Awesome and it actually did the trick. I also want to say thank you to everyone that responded to my last request for my friend about permenant marker, I still haven't heard back from her so I really don't know what she ended up useing.
Thank you all again

Try the internet- go to google and search crayons + laundry... they should list some ideas.

We used a magic eraser and that seemed to do the trick!.

WD-40 works wonders.....
First pick or scratch off any crayon that is in clumps or that you can physically feel. Spray the spots with WD-40, rub a little, then rub in a little liquid laundry soap, wash with the hottest water the clothes will take. That should take out all the melted crayon but it it doesn't repeat above process. Now you just have to get rid of the "stinky" smell. A few more washes and vinegar in the rinse water should get rid of that.....
Good luck, my granddaughter did that to a load of her mom brand new "undies", but I got it all out but one small spot on the lace on a bra.

There is a product out there called De-Solv-it It is in a small (6"tall) clear spray bottle. The color of the liquid inside the bottle is a golden yellow. It is awesome and you will not have any smell with it. This works wonders on glue on clothes, lipstick, grease, oil etc. It can be used on furniture carpet etc. It sometime is hard to find. I have had the best luck locating it at Wal-Mart. Best of luck
