You are lucky, it was just on the seat belt.
I say that because, when my daughter was just a Toddler, she DREW on the backseat door upholstery, of Grandma's car.
And to this day, the crayon "drawings" are still there, in Grandma's car.
My DD snuck a cheap non washable restaurant crayon (the ones they give to entertain your kids) into the car. She drew on the seatbelt. Any ideas how to try and get it off?

Have you tried Magic Eraser? I haven't found much that it can't get out!
Warm iron and brown paper (like a lunch bag). Put the paper over the crayon and rub the warm iron on it (not sure what setting - turn the temp up if it doesn't seem to be working on low. The iron will melt the wax and it will transfer onto the brown paper. You need a pretty long extension cord but it works!
Hand her a wet Magic Eraser (Mr Clean) and have her start scrubbing, those things are miracle workers...and they come now where you can break off the size you need ツ
Hmmm perhaps Dawn dish soap & hot water?
