I've had migraines for years (25+) I find that they are different for everyone, I have extensive muscle damage from mine, my migraines are predominately on the right side and cause sever pain and muscle tension. about three years ago I had Airrosti therapy done on the muscles associated with my migraines, and I have had very few migraines ever since, less than 10 in three years (I've had anywhere from once a month to 7-9 a month over the years so >10 in a three year period is great!) and in addition to them being less frequent their level of pain is also significantly less. So for me it was Life saving!!!! and I will swear by it! but Muscles are a very big component of my pain.
Airrosti Therapy is a form of treatment for soft tissue damage, it works with the muscles and the fascia (please don't quote me my knowledge is limited) you can read all about it at www.airrosti.com it will explain what it is that they do. An added bonus is that my insurance covers the treatment the same as it would for Physical therapy (which I have also done many times for my migraine pain, with no significant results) for me it was a $40 co pay on my old insurance but on my new one it is more expensive but still worth every penny. I only had 3 treatments for my migraines. I've used Airrosti for other soft tissue injuries (legs, carpal tunnel and elbow problems, back spasms, and such all with amazing results) most injuries will take 3-4 treatments total.
definitely worth a try! the cranial Massage sounds like it would feel good but not sure how long the results will last. let us know!
