Does anyone know the easiest way to figure out sales at stores and whether or not there are any matching coupons for the sale items?

Try www.bargainbeliever.com
She actually breaks down every item in each major grocery store ad every week and provides links to all of the printable coupons as well as what the final price is after coupns etc. It is an amazing site and has helped me save between 50-75% on the final grocery bill every week. We went from spending $100-$150 a week for a family of 4 to now spending approximately $100 every 2 weeks! And we get more food!

I've learned a lot about coupons & shopping trip planning at howtoshopforfree.net. My current favorite store is CVS, they have free products with extra bucks almost every week. That site also taught me how to find "money maker" items. For example, if CVS has free toothpaste, and you have a dollar coupon, you actually make a dollar by buying the toothpaste. She even shares sample shopping lists and coupons to use at certain stores each week to help you get the idea.

Try subscribing to coupon diva. They provide little tips and let you know about great "matching" deals or when a printable coupon can be paired with an in-store promotion so the product only costs you $1.25 or whatever the deal it.
It is helpful if you are serious or casual about the whole couponing craze.
Good luck!

Depending upon the store you can often go their online store and check the current sale flyer. Some department stores will not let you use coupons on clearence items some will. You have to ask at the store. I rarely to never use grocery coupons most of the items that offer coupons are not items I buy.

Use the store ads, gather your coupons that you want to use then compare the prices Walmart & Target add match plus accept the coupons.Stores that offer double coupons is great only if the item is just as cheap or cheaper else where, most of the time you can get tooth paste, tooth brushes under a dollar or free. You can use coupons on clearanced items so I always search Target end caps for the great deals & apply my coupons.Speaking of Target their bulk items are going on clearance.I also have some sites that I use to print off coupons then go shopping.I would check out
www.FrugalGirls.com
www.CouponDivas.com
they have great information on sale items, matching with a coupon & have a list of the stores coupon information. You can stack coupons for the same item say you have a Glad candle manufactuer coupon for .55 off of 2 then Target has another coupon for $1.00 of 1 then the Glad candle itself has a peelie you can apply all those to your Glade candle purchase.

couponmom.com matches circular ads with the coupons in the paper as well as online printable coupons, and tells you what percentage you save overall. The trick to using the site is you keep the coupon sections each week and write the date at the top of them. Then you check couponmom.com and it will tell you there is a coupon in the December 21st P&G coupons that matches with the sale price at whichever store and therefore saves you x%.
