I like the sites dealseekingmom.com and savingcentswithsense.net they both give great match ups for coupons and sales at grocery stores and drugstores.
Just like everyone else looking to save money on groceries.. I clip coupons & I go to Coupons.com & smartsource.com but they always seem to be the same coupons.. anyone have any other sites they use to get coupons that don't charge you to sign up..
I like the sites dealseekingmom.com and savingcentswithsense.net they both give great match ups for coupons and sales at grocery stores and drugstores.
Better than printing & cutting coupons on-line, I like www.couponmom.com. It's free to sign up and it gives you the weekly sales at stores in YOUR state and the percentage saved on their sale items that week. It also lists available coupons and what insert/date that can be used on those particular items.
There is one website that is called www.thetreasurebox.org. You can order a box of food that you pick up near where you live for $30. This box of food can feed a family of four for a week. You can order as many as you want. It is about $65-$100 worth of food. If you go to the website and at the top click on "food menu" you will see what will be in the March box. Plus in the box you will receive recipes that you can use the food in.
I also wanted to tell you about another option that I am doing. I know you mentioned that you wanted a website that didn't charge you to sign up, I too thought that was the best way to go but I have changed my mind since I joined www.couponsense.com. It costs me $15 per month ($4 the first month to try it out) plus I added about $9 extra per month for three Sunday newspapers and a Wednesday newspaper (you don't have to do this but you will save more money unless you have friends that will give you their coupon section). Since I joined, which was in January, I have saved $272 on my groceries (they have a spreadsheet on their website that you plug in your receipts and it gives you the amount that you saved so you can keep track). I didn't think this was possible but it is. I have a great coach who sends out emails on exactly what to buy, where to find the coupon and having a coach is free, no extra costs at all, all you have to do is per her name down when you join.
I don't know if you know how easy this program is. All you do is get your coupons from the Sunday paper, write the code down on them (which they give you on Sunday afternoon in an email), and then file them. Then you have a website that you can type in the food that you want to buy, such as Cheerios, and they give you the coupon code on which flyer to find the coupon plus the price at all the stores. Simple. They also send out emails telling you which foods to buy this week because they are on sale at the grocery store and you have coupons to go with that so it makes it even cheaper.
In the past week I have bought 10 large boxes of name brand cereal for $1 a piece and I have purchased 9 tubes of toothpaste (Crest, Colgate) for free. This is just a sample of what you can do. I want to share with you what I did yesterday at CVS:
I purchased 3 large bottles (23.6 oz) of Olay Body Wash, one bottle of Aussie shampoo and one tube of Colgate toothpaste. The Olay Body Wash was on sale for $6.49 but I had three $1 off coupons so that made it $5.49 each. The shampoo was on sale for $2.99 but I had a $1 off coupon so that made it $1.99. The Colgate was on sale for $2.99 and I had a $.50 coupon off so that made it $2.49. I paid $23 for everything. Now for the fun part, I received $4 in Extra Bucks (which is just like cash on my next CVS purchase), I received a "$4 off my next purchase of $20 or more" coupon, and I have a $15 mail in rebate for the Olay Body Wash. That means that I will be getting $15 back in cash, plus I will save $8 on my next trip to CVS which is a total of a $23 savings. That makes my shopping trip I did yesterday FREE (spend $23 get $23 back). This is just a sample of the type of deals they tell you about.
If you want more information about this and the name of my coach I would be happy to share this with anybody. I am amazed at all that I have bought and how little I have spent.
If you want to watch the tutorial you can at www.couponsense.com, but please if you decide to join it is very important that you get a coach. I have never spoken with her but she is there if you need her by phone or email, but all the emails that she sends out are very important to have. Without these emails I would not have saved nearly the amount that I have, plus remember the coach is free. Just let me know if you want her name and I will give it to you. You can even call her or email her and ask any questions before you sign up.
I'm sorry my response is so long but I am just really excited that my friend told me about this website and that I finally joined. Plus I have never tried The Treasure Box yet but I have a friend that did and she said the food was great!
Try Krazycouponlady.com, shesaved.com, redplum.com, dealseekingmom.com, penchingyourpennies.com, coupongeek.com. You can become fans on Facebook and they will update there and a lot of times they will give you direct links to print off coupons for sales and you end up with free items.
every week I check out www.freebies4mom.com. I sign up for free samples all the time. I sometimes print coupons directly from company websites (got some from Horizon Milk the other day, but you did have to sign up for future monthly emails). I hear that freebies4mom is updated each Friday. It's a fun place to check out every now and again. I've gotten UniBall pen samples, diaper samples, Pampers codes, cream of Wheat samples, plus I have more coming in the mail the next few weeks.
Just like Denise, I also use couponmom.com. Other nice attritubes about the site are the forum in which members post deals they find, links to coupons they found useful, links to rebates, etc.
A good way to save extra, safeway.com/coupons. you can download coupons to your clubcard, these coupons can be used at the same time as a papercoupon, so in a way you are using two coupons for 1 product.
I get the AZ Daily Star Sat and Sun paper for only $5 a month. The Sun paper always has lots of coupons and they more than make up for the price of the paper. I belong to a mom's group and we have a coupon folder that we pass around. You're supposed to take out what you can used and then try to replace the same amount or more of coupons that you took and then pass it on to the next person. You can also print coupons online from Target.com If you shop at Fry's and have a Fry's card you can log onto their website and actually download coupons to your card so you don't have to have the paper versions. They hardly have any that I would use but you might find some that work for you. If you have a FaceBook account, become a fan of PinchingYourPennies.com and The Krazy Coupon Lady. They tell you all kinds of special deals and I love the way they tell you how to make the most out of the coupons, weekly sales, and register rewards/special offers. Sometimes they put those things together and end up with several products for pennies or sometimes free.
Well, after checking all the sites suggested below, I still believe the program I'm currently using is the most thorough and organized: http://savingsangel.com/amember/go.php?r=29513&i=l8 They do charge $20 but you can try it for $10/first month. Also, there are ways to get your membership for free. Besides I easily save $30-90/week using this site. My grocery budget is $80/wk for a family of 4, and I only end up spending $20-30/wk. Some weeks I only need to buy 2-3 items because I'm able to stock up so quickly. It lists all the local supermarkets and pharmacies and matches sales with coupons.
My favorite site is www.hip2save.com. I check it everyday. She helps you find the deals, free samples and how to match coupons with sales and she is lots of fun. I also use www.shotrcuts.com to link coupons to store shopping cards.
I use www.thegrocerygame.com to put together my shopping lists based on what is on sale and matches up with a coupon. I go to fry's, safeway, and albertson's. Then I use www.moneysavingmom.com to see the best deals at CVS and Walgreens. For produce I buy most of it at Superstition Ranch Market in Mesa. I spend about $15 a month on the site and my newspaper. I average only $60/week on all groceries for a family of two adults and two young boys. It takes preparation, but it's worth the savings and we eat much more variety than we did before. (Plus, when my kids beg for something at the store, I say - that's not on the list - and it usually shuts them up about it!)
Good Luck!
