Could You Keep Me in Your Prayers?..The Kids Are Staying Home, So You All Know:)

Monday morning, EARLY, we are heading down as a family and Occupation to Olympia. My States Capitol.

We are participating is a State wide day of Action, where Every Occupation will present their SPECIFIC lists of Demands and Grievances. This is the first of many actions like this. Our next step is to get groups from each Occupation to get together and work on one State wide lists of demands. Which we will then take to Olympia in mass Protest style, yet again.

Anyways enough about that stuff.

Will you keep me in your prayers. We are adhering to the 100% peaceful Protest Process. And we can only hope that our Capitol would meet our mass with the utmost respect. So Pray for peace while we do this action.

Please also if you could pray for me driving down there. This is my first attempt since my accident to drive anymore then 25 miles from my house, ALONE. And I will have the kids with me. I know I can do this, it is a great test of strength for me all around. But I will need some good thinking to back up my own strength please:)

I will update you all on how the action went and was received by our POWERS THAT BE. Peace is the most important thing. We do not need vigilantes ruining a great thing.

What can I do next?

Must you bring your children? Prayers offered aside, I don't think it wise or "good thinking" to bring children to an event that has the potential to be highly charged, even if your goal is peaceful.

I'm with J.L. I'm all for standing up for what you believe in, but why put your children in "possible" harm? I've seen what peaceful can get you lately. Do you want your children to be possible witnesses to that horror? I sure wouldn't bring my kid to a tea party thing (if I were even into that). Those people are actually crazy sometimes! Lol.

I suggest that your children are too young to be involved. The protest doesn't have to be violent for people to be hurt. They are so small they can be trampled when a group starts to move.

Your children will need your constant attention. They're too young to stand in protest. How will you keep them entertained, fed and rested?

You are planning to present a list of demands? I believe you are sincere in that you want this to be peaceful but I would not stake my kids safety on my wishes. Leave your kids at home.

Hi,
I am from washington, lived there most of my life except the past 11 years. my family is from lynnwood, seattle, edmonds, everett, try cities, grand coulee, spokane. you name it. so the reason I'm telling you that is because my mom and I use to travel 4 to 6 hours from lynnnwood to tricities or grand coulee area. to vista my aunt or other family members. We've done it so many times probably in the hundreds, so have no fear of traveling to Olympia. check out google maps if you don't have a GPS and make sure your directions are clear. I'll pray for you, happy to do it. good luck and god bless you.
