Best test would be to try some almond or silk milk and see if you still get that reaction, then you would know.
I love my cereal in the mornings, but the past few weeks I have noticed that after eating, the insides of my lips feel tender and swollen as does the inside of my mouth then it goes away within an hour. This is with various types of cereal. Could I be allergic to the milk? Please tell me no!!! lol

Could be the milk, but it could be one of the grains, or a preservative or additive in the cereal. You could switch to a soy or almond milk, or you could switch to a pure cereal with no additives, or switch from a wheat-based to an oat-based cereal. BUT only make one change at a time - scientists tell you to just change one variable.
You probably don't have a food allergy - there really aren't any true allergies, just an inability to process that food or a nutrient within in. These can be reversed by adding in the proper nutrients to your system. No matter how "well" you eat, you are missing nutrients because our food supply is so deficient and our soils are so depleted. So supplementation is key - with a synergistic supplement and nothing in pill form.
Good luck and let me know if your experiment doesn't work and you need more info on supplementation.
You should try to drink a half of a cup of milk and see if the same thing happens. Then you will know for sure. I myself would not survive! I LOVE my milk! LOL! Good luck to you!
Yes, it sounds VERY serious. stop with the milk for a bit. The more times you expose yourself to an allergy the more intense it can get. Soon you could not be able to breathe. Try the lactose milk. It tastes just like milk. I loved the chocolate milk. If that works and no more reactions then that was it. BUT PLEASE talk to your doctor.
If you are still having the reaction then it might be something in the cereals like wheat, barley, etc.
